Massey Ferguson 1552 w/cab and QPS transmission

I just purchased a Massey 1552 with a QPS transmission. Speed or (gear) #2 in all three (Rabbit,Turtle and snail) ranges doesnt work and an error code is displayed on the instrument panel is displayed. Is this an electrical solenoid problem or something else? Thanks Eddie

Transmission fixed!! It was a wire pulled loose from the pin connector to the control module located on the left side just under the floorboard. Possibly a stick got it. The underside of the tractor needs a skid plate to protect the wires and transmission lines that are exposed. I am going to design one in my metal shop that will be easy to remove for service, but will protect the underside. It was an inexpensive fix!!

Good to hear, might want to post your fabricated skid plate design once you've finished, sounds like something others would be interested in seeing. I would imagine the 1652 setup would be similar.

I would love to see pictures of the guard you designed....it may work on my 1660 as well.
