Hey guys,
My ole massey was to the point I had to leave the choke on to run it so I bought a rebuild kit. the float didnt set level so i adjusted it. so tractor ran ok ish. but fuel ran out of the carb when it was off. So I took it apart and bent the float back where it didnt set level. Now it doesn't leak and it cranks and idles fine without choke. But when I throttle up it spits sputters finally revs then back down a little to kinda sputtery running but not hitting all cylinders, cant really mow good cuz it hasn't much power this way. I just put plugs wires cap rotor and points. Not a coil though. No change. This winter I took the gas tank off and applied a por15 tank seal kit cuz it was leaking, so in that process the filter bowl and lines got cleaned up real good. Any Thoughts? Oh and I cant tell much of anything by messing with the adjustment screws.
