Hello Everyone, First post here. I have been enjoying doing some work on a Massey Ferguson 135 with a Perkins gas AG3.152 engine. Had some noise in the timing cover and removed it and found and repaired a loose timing idler gear. I am now ready to reinstall the timing cover but have a question. On the governor assembly there is a little tab that sticks out on the thrust plate that makes contact with the through rod on the timing cover. Is there a specific location for this tab to be before I put the cover back on? I have been looking for a manual for this specific engine but all the manuals I am finding seem to be for the AD3.152 diesel engine. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
