Tractor Sizing Massey Ferguson 1080 width

Hey guys, I’m thinking about buying a 1080 soon. My only question is if my trailer is wide enough to haul the tractor. The trailer is 84” between the fenders and 88” at the widest point. How wide is the tractor from front tire to front tire? I just need the front of the tractor to get through my trailer fenders. The tractor is located three hours away, so I don’t want to pick it up unless I know I can haul it. Thanks for the help.

That’s large row crop farm tractor and so likely has an adjustable width front axle to match crop row spacing.

Therefore it can be narrowed or widened.

The only wrinkle is if it has a solid front axle that some had for non-row crops which were sometimes called wheatland tractors.

You could adjust the front axle spacing to accommodate your trailer, but it could be a long process due to rust.

This says rear wheel width is 68"-76" It's going to require a heavy trailer to haul 11,990 #.

Well, I was able to pick the tractor up and get it home. It was just barely able to get through the fenders with the tires touching both sides. The 14k trailer did good and drove the 180 miles home. I’ll probably be in the market to upgrade from my 20 foot bumper pull to a 30 foot gooseneck, whenever I get a batwing for the tractor.
