Massey Fergeson 135
Hello, I need some help. I have a 1964 Massey 135. While I was driving it just died, tried to turn the key and nothing happened, no click or drag from battery. Yes the tractor was in neutral and in start mode on high and low.
Thanks

Put both shift and H/L in neutral.if nothing happens then it's a electrical issue. Switch, starter, ground, battery. If neutral safety switch wire has come loose then your dead in the water. It's located on top of the tranny in front of the battery. If you have a small set of jumpers, pul the leads and jump them. Make darn sure your in neutral though. check corrosion on battery terminals. Check battery voltage. BTW Welcome to TractorByNet. -kid

Thank you she's old been running for years but still a good tractor. I'm thinking after reading it may be the safety switch. I'll try that.

Brown fuse by the ignition key switch

Would that fuse cause th tractor to "just die while running"?
May have a shorted wire. It's the only fuse on the tractor that I know of. The ignition wiring should be protected by some kind of fuse. It's worth a look, it may be an easy fix. A shorted wire May be harder to find.

Gas or Diesel?
If it's gas and it died like you turned off the ignition, then I'd suspect a problem with the primary ignition circuit. If it's a diesel or gas and it sputtered or ran down and stopped, it's most likely a fuel delivery problem.

The fact that you can't get it to turn over with the key switch makes me also suspect the electrical system. I'm not sure how your ignition is wired but they often go through the solenoid and if the wire to the solenoid is broken or comes loose, you can't energize the solenoid. You really haven't given us much data to work with so I can't be any more definitive than this.
