Hi
Does anybody have any feedback on the Massey 2705E or 2706E tractor with loader (4x4)? I have been looking at Kubota MX5200HST, Kioti NX5010HST and now the Massey 2706E HST. Just wanting feedback on the Massey 2706E HST or similar. I have not test driven yet, but will go do that. Apparently Shibaura makes the engine for the Massey. Going to be doing some farm work (mostly mowing pasture) and lots of moving pallets around (loading/unloading trucks) with a skid steer pallet fork on whatever model tractor I buy. Speaking of that, maybe its going to be too much of a "pain in the neck" moving pallets with the tractor?
thanks!

I have the 2706e with the hydro transmission.
I would buy it again tomorrow if I had to make the decision again.
...Mostly due to cost, it was much less money than the Kubota. It also uses a simpler method of achieving emissions requirements, and you could bypass those if you were so inclined. ....And the fact that the Massey dealer closest to me is awesome for sales and service.!!

Tractor FEL (Front End Loader) lift capacity decreases rapidly with HEIGHT. Be sure the tractor model has the lift capacity you need, at the height you need, bearing in mind that all tractor capacities decline slowly with tractor age.

You will want to purchase optional SSQA (Skid Steer Quick Attach - an industry standard) FEL bucket and SSQA pallet forks.

You will need ample counterbalance to the FEL load mounted on tractor's rear Three Point Hitch. The most common counterbalance is a tractor implement, with Box Blades being perhaps the most common. I use a Cultipacker too. So the tractor will be fairly "long" when moving pallets on the FEL.

( Fork Lifts have rear engines, rear weight bias. Tractors have front engines, front weight bias which helps them pull through the rear Three Point Hitch.)

Thanks for your responses. I drove a Massey 1749 Cab, Yanmar YT359 cab, Kubota MX5200, Kioti NX4510, also looked at a New Holland. I bought the Yanmar YT359 cab. The Massey 1749 cab was also nice, but I thought the YT359 beat them all, at least in my test drive. I got the loader, quick attach pallet forks and 6' Kodiak brush cutter. So far I like it very much.
