Good morning all. I did a little clean up this weekend on my new to me Massey 135, and after clean up could see a few leaks that were hidden under the grime. One being at the injector pump. It appears that the leak is coming from the inspection plate on the side of the injector pump. Looking at the Agco manual, it looks like there is a gasket under this plate cover that may be the cause unless the leak is somewhere else and just dripping off of that section? That's what I don't know as this is my first tractor. This is a 1974 Massey 135 with the Perkins diesel. I'm assuming if this is labeled an inspection plate, that it is not as shady to deal with as some of the other sources of leaks on this unit and should be a fairly easy replacement. Is this a common source of leak on these units? Is it usually just a gasket replacement if so? Anything to watch out for on replacement, and best way to go about it?
Thanks all ahead for the help.
