Hey all I been hanging around this site for a couple of months now and I felt it was time to jumpe in with both feet.

My question is this is $12.5 thousand two much for a 2001 massey 1250 4x4 tractor with loader,skid steer quick tach,rear remotes,under 900 hours,and hyro tilt on 3pt hitch ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Aslo is there any stuff good or bad I should know about this tractor, and any one know what type of back hoe I could put on it? any info would help Thanks guys.

The book value for a 2001 model with over 2000 hours is about $9300. With 1100 less hours, a front loader and other accessories that is in the ballpark. Massey Ferguson still offers a backhoe to fit the 1250 (model 1475). The 1250 is a good tractor. It was one of the more popular MF compacts sold.

Hey one other question you Guys know where I can get some info on this tractor? Like specs,and other stuff like that. Have searched high and low and could not come up with anything, anny help would be appricated.

Hey,

That dealership is 20 minutes from my house. The will do whatever it takes to hel you out, and keep you coming back!!

So, are the PTO on those really driven off the rear diff? You know like ground drive?

They do not use ground driven PTO.

Hey,

Thanks for the info. My Uncle was going to buy one, but when someone told him the PTO was driven off the diff( If you dont move, you dont have a PTO...... ) He backed away. I have seen a few for sale, and I think I ay save my pennies over the winter and get one!!

Okay guys The above tractor was sold, but do you guys know anything about a Massey 1190? because the guy has one its a 1992,985 hrs,54 hp,cab,2 sets remotes,quick attach bucket for $13.9 is this a good deal or what? and is ther anything I should know about this machine good bad or in diffrent?
