It's been a while since i've been on here and i sold my Kubota (needed the money at the time) since the last visit. I just picked up a 2002 Massey Ferguson 1233 4x4 with 450 hrs from the original owner. I went to the local dealer ship and the guy couldn't find out how much oil or trans(Hydro) fluid it needed. I went ahead and ordered an owners manual but wanted to get started on it asap. The guy i bought it from said he serviced regular, but by the looks of it, i think he just changed the oil and filter only.
Anyone know how much for the engine/w filter and the trans. Also i bought the Shell rotella syn 5w40 @ Walmart today. I read a little on here about it and hope that's not to many hours to switch over . Any input on the hydro for the trans and how much? Not much on here for the 1233 series, are they any good?? (I hope). Any thing else i should check or change?
