I have a MF 178 and need to construct a track down and up a grade. Does anybody have details of the safe uphill and downhill grade for the MF178?? Or if not where I might find out such information??

Now I am not familiar with that tractor but things is things.I have a few hill sides that are appox. 45 degrees that I mow. I have went up and down it with a 25 h.p. sears riding mower, and now have went up and down it with a 25 h.p. 254 chinese nortrac tractor with a 5 ft. brushog on behind[lowered],now it does give you a certain amount of trepidation untill you've went up and down afew times. But if your are making a new road, don't make it that steep,go around the side, make a snaking road up that hill,if its that steep a slope. You can add weight to the front if you think you need it.
