So Island Tractor told me that if I gave it a half effort I could justify (to myself) buying a QA stump (grubber) bucket. He was right. I have an occasion where having a small bucket would be useful, and it would be great to have around, right?

The problem is, while on the website, I had a look at the rock bucket. Man that looks useful, I have a lot of rocks. And they will reset the tines to 2.5"

So now I ordered the 60" rock bucket too.

And now I'm looking at the tree boom. Seems like it'd be useful too.

I blame Island Tractor. It's the only rational thing to do.

You either won the lottery or you're single?
OR...
You have a very very very understanding wife.

you hit the nail on the head!

Single for the moment, I have until next september to stock up on tractor attachments! At that point gf's question of "do you really need that" will turn to wife's "you don't really need that"

Gotta batten down the hatches before the storm.

I think Charles is firmly in the camp of "it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission". A man after my own heart. Let's see if he can keep it up once the little lady takes a proprietary interest in his finances.

(Give me a holler if you really want a QA tree boom. I have one I don't use much since getting proper forks.)

Absolutely true! What I'm engaged in is called advance planning - anything I own beforehand (getting married) is inarguable, though it may lead to a grumpy look :p:p

There's also distraction - I told her I bought a bunch of tools, but focused on the saw stop saw - clearly important to own from a safety perspective - and didn't mention anything else. Or rather nothing else happened to come up :D:D

Or rather I got a minor lecture on how spending money on a wedding is more fun then spending it on tools. Oddly enough, I think she was serious. I'd send her to a psychiatrist for a mental health check, but I think its a delusion that plagues the whole gender.

I wonder if anyone has ever registered with Land Pride?

Already put in the order for the tree boom, I'm afraid - I had it modified too, to make it easier to crane things onto roofs. I'm thinking the next time a bunch of shingles has to go up will be a lot easier.
