cub cadet 7235
I just acquired a cub cadet 7235 and no manual came with it. I checked with my local cub dealer and they are no help. Can someone steer me in the right direction to get one.

Go to the MTD site and download it. You will need your serial and model numbers.

If you can't find what you want on the Cub site come back to the forum. Many of us with Cubs also have the service and parts manuals. Don't be afraid to ask questions there is a wealth of knowledge from many of the members. Hope you like the tractor, it should serve you well.

dj, I hit send before I intended. Fill out your Bio not because we are nosey but it will help many times on questions you may ask. i.e. how many hours on the tractor, does it have a FEL, MMM, etc.

thanks everyone for your input. MajMac, I thought I did fill out the bio. I went back and filled in the slots again. The tractor has 104 hours on it and has a MMM. I don't know alot about this machine and thought a manual would list capacities and fluid types, filter numbers, engine specs.,etc. as well as lubrication locations. Tractor is in great shape but I'd like to change fluids and check it over since it has not been run for several years.

You ought to like the tractor real well. 104 hours is nothing if the hour meter works, etc. Unless you know any of the history I almost think I would change out oil, hydraulic, and fuel filters, drain and fill with clean fuel, change engine and hydraulic fluids, give it a good grease job. Is it the original battery? Mine went a couple of years ago. In the battery box area they seem to get alittle corrosion as is typical. It isn't bad if you watch it and treat it every so often. Now that I've spent maybe $200 of your money got any questions? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Hydraulic filters are around $50 a piece, you have 2; oil filter $7-15; fuel is only $6-7. If you need the air filter, but I suspect you may not, it is in the $60 range. Many filters only have a Mitsubishi number and they are a bit pricey. Enjoy. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
