Male Square Head Pipe Plug with starting to round off - What to do?

I would try to put the square end of a 1/4 inch drive socket on the drain plug. The bigger the socket size the better, 1/2 inch maybe. Then put a bolt in the socket with a couple jam nuts on it and see if you can turn it with a wrench or another socket.
