My son decided this morning he wants to have a stand instead of the usual farm wagon to sell corn at the road side. I've searched around on-line this morning and one of the better ones I've found was posted on TBN by JDeerekid a few yeas ago. Anyone have pictures of their stands. We start corn sales this Saturday so has to be an easy build.

Have you thought of something quick and temporary by using your farm wagon to hold the corn and use it as a foundation of sorts and attach some 2x's to it and frame out from there to make a counter and up to just have a couple of cross memebers and lay on top some fiberglass panels for a roof..A couple of sheets of plywood cut to fit for a counter and you would be in business and then when the season is over you have a simple take down and it's ready to go for next year..Just a thought. Also keep in mind the farm wagon denotes fresh from the field...it separates you from the grocery stores..good marketing technique to keep the farm wagon in ,,,I think..

I think I would build something portable, maybe on wheels. Most vendors sell out of the back of the pickup truck around here. That way, you got music and air conditioning. Ken Sweet

alot of people use these pop up tents now. We always just had a wagon under the tree out front for some shade. As long as you have some shade of sorts, and somewhere to make the business transaction, anything will work!

Portable would be the best IMO. Nothing like a stand that doesn't move, and the foot traffic wears out the grass (get mud or dust then) and/or can't mow it neat.

Something that moves so when you are there, it is there. When you are not there, it is gone.

Permanent not so good.

Luremaker, If you build one like pictured in your post, you may want to anchor it down somehow.

Looks like a good gust of wind would turn that one over pretty quick.
