Majic brand paint at TSC stores

I've read quite a few posts on Majic brand paint available at TSC. Majority of posts relate to using Majic from quart or gallon cans, proper thinning, how it goes on using a spray gun etc. I thought I'd try a few spray cans of Majic. Normally I use Rustoleum or Ditzler automotive spray cans with good results. Is it just me or does the Majic spray paint seem to come out of the nozzle way too fast. It's very hard to paint anything without having runs. Spaying quickly doesn't give good coverage. I previously bought paint at TSC with a different name (possibly Valspar) and that paint sprayed well. I haven't tried to replace the nozzle with one from a brand name spray paint and don't even know if it would fit. Anyone else have this problem with Majic spray paint?

I have never heard anything but bad news about majic paint. I have never sprayed a drop of it, and I doubt I ever will with all the negative comments I have heard.

They used to carry the Van Sickle brand, and it was the best paint and best match.

The paint they had was Valspar the Majic paint they use now is too thin in spray cans.

They had both Valspar and Van Sickle in the Harrison store, and the Van Sickle was the best match, I still have cans of each.

Yep - Majic has not impressed me at all. I had very poor result with it

I had good luck with the valspare paint they use to carry.Majic paint is terrible.Ganna have to look somewhere else for paint.

Wish TSC read all the threads on here and would go back to the Valspar paint again!

I heard Lowe's carries Valspar.
