Mahindra losing power

Bought it new about 8 yes ago, never any trouble. 4025 diesel. Was bushhogging today, had been doing fine, rpm's started dropping about a 1000 every round, throttle had no effect, blue smoke started puffing out, made it back to the house and was down to 13,000 rpms. It was getting dark so didn't check anything. Any ideas on what I should look for tomorrow ? Thanks for reading

Welcome. Check the fuel filter for blockage.

Or air filter. I blow out my rad and air filter frequently when cutting brush.

I believe you meant dropped 100 rpm a pass. and were down to 1300 rpm. or you have the wrong engine in your tractor!!!
welcome to TBN. I'd check ur fuel bowl for a clogged filter and also water in it.
