Recently, my emax25 HST developed a starting problem. No matter how many times we warmed the glow plugs, even in 91 degree weather, it wouldn't start. Some Googling sent me here, which suggested a number of things to try. One person kept mentioning a 10 amp fuse, but for the life of me I couldn't find the one he was talking about. Squatting down near the front tire, trying to look for worn wires, I moved a bundle of wires, which moved another bundle of wires. That caused me to look at the second bundle that moved. There, taped to a harness with black electrical tape, was a small plug that said "fuse" on the very end of it. Not even noticable. Not even mentioned in the manual ANYWHERE. The only reason it wasn't already on a trailer to the dealer was because the stupid thing wouldn't start. Popped open the plug and sure enough, there was a 10a fuse. Took it out, put it back in and it fired right up. Shut it down and it fired up again. So, I'm thinking that fixed the problem. I'll get some grease to put on it later this week. In the meantime, here's some pics of what I'm referring to, just in case someone else has this problem.

Good post. Especially with pics. That'll help someone in the future, for sure.

Welcome to the site. Stick around...

I had the exact same problem with my emax 25. Eventually, I couldn't get it to start at all. I finally called the dealer out and he had it up and running within minutes. The problem is the fuel solenoid fuse clamp (the thing the fuse fits into). Apparently it isn't tight enough in some tractors. The voltage reads correctly, but the current is not adequate. The tech just tightened the clamp with a pliers and it's been working great since then. I think that is the fuse you are looking at. I'd suggest crimping the clamp.

I bought by tractor new last year (2016), and it was supposedly new stock (eMax 25-S, has the steel fenders and updated FEL), although I'm not sure how to tell the exact year. According to the dealer it's relatively common on eMax tractors from this period. They've seen it a few times.

I just got referenced to this thread from another I had started and this was exactly what the problem was on my 2012 EMax 25. The picture helped me figure out which fuse everyone was talking about so I sure do appreciate that.

Mahindra is definitely lacking in details on its documentation. Having a fuse located in such a place is just amateurish. That fuse should be mounted in the fuse box with everything else. Mahindra will definitely never get a thumbs up from me.
