Mahindra 6075 Filter Questions

I am coming up on the 50 hour service for my 6075 Cab. The manual calls for replacement of the engine oil and transmission/hydraulic filters. I ordered these filters from Ruebicon International. The price was better by about $20 than my local dealer. I just received the filters today, and I have a couple questions.

This is my first time ordering parts of any kind for a Mahindra tractor, so I do not know what Mahindra OEM packaging looks like. I have attached a pic of the filter boxes. Does this look like packaging that come from a Mahindra?

My other question regards the engine oil filter. It states right on the filter that it is for Tier 3 tractors. The 6075 is a Tier 4 tractor. Is this an issue? Is there any difference between oil filters from different tier tractors?

Finally, I ordered these same two filters from my local Mahindra dealer so that I can compare filters I know to be OEM to the Reubicon supplied filters. If they are the same I will likely go exclusively with Reubicon in the future because of the better price and fast shipping.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Those boxes look like Mahindra boxes- they have several types. I don’t know for sure it it covers your model but I do know folks on here have been talking about a new engine oil filter that Mahindra recommends that is much shorter. That could explain the Tier 3 vs 4.....or I just sent you on a wild goose chase! But hay, on the bright side you saved $20!

The shorter filter is model specific to the 2555, 2565, 2655, and 2665.

I received the second set of filters I ordered from the Mahindra dealer. The engine oil filter I got from the dealer is the same shorter filter that I received from Reubicon International (RI). And like the one from RI, the filter from the dealer says “Tier 3”. I asked the parts counter guy about that and he said that’s the filter that comes up in their system for the 6075. So then I called Mahindra USA parts department. I gave the gentleman the part number for the filter I received and he said that is the correct part number for the 6075. I also mentioned that the filter itself says “Tier 3” on it and that the 6075 is Tier 4. He said that doesn’t matter. The part number on my short filter he says is the correct number for the 6075. So, now I have RI, local Mahindra dealer, and Mahindra USA all telling me to use the short Tier 3 filter.

The filter on the left is from Reubicon International. The one on the right from the local Mahindra dealer. Mahindra USA parts department confirms this is the correct filter for the 6075 in spite of the “Tier 3” label. So, I feel confident this must be the correct filter.
