Just a note here...I woke up yesterday morning about 0630 with a pretty good pain in my stomach/abdomen area. I got up and the pain progressively got worse untill it was somewhere around an 8 on 10 point scale (to me a 10 being shot thru the groin--trying to keep it clean here...). Started to throw up but nothing left in my stomach...you know this drill...). I finally aske my wife to take be to the emergency room around 0830....long story short...my gall bladder had gone south on me,,,ultrasound said I had stones..The ER doc said I should have it out. It just happened to be that a surgeon was finishing up on one patient with gall bladder removal at this time and said he could work an hour or two OT on me...they do this laproscopically now...almost outpatient proceedure. I was home by 1530 yesterday sans bladder. Not much pain and am on the mend....just sharing this Sunday morning. Regards, BobG in VA who wants some seat time other than the Lazy Boy...
