Ive read similar threads. I am waiting on shop manual and have misplaced operator manual. Checked clutch safety sw. Pto has pb swith. Seat doesnt lift up. I think clutch sw is only safety sw. Im trying to check fuses but find no blown fuses in fuse box. Fusible links seem to be mounted at rear of engine compartment. Not sure how to pull them. They look like picture from hst cab manual that bills tractor sent by mistake. Figure is "Relay and fusible link. Any advice would be appreciated, Pic is attached.

Additional details from previous post:
When I turn switch to ON, gauges and lights come on. Glow indicator comes on and times out. If I turn to GLOW, that lamp turns on as long as switch is in GLOW position. When I turn switch to START, I hear no click. If I jumper from solenoid terminal to starter terminal, starter appears to engage and turn engine but tractor does not start. Relays and fuses in picture are labeled GLOW RELAY, PULL COIL RELAY, START RELAY, CHARGING FUSE, MAIN FUSE, CABIN FUSE AND GLOW FUSE in the 5010 HST manual. Of course I have no cabin so that fuse is likely not used. I found no wiring at all under seat.

Using 5010 hst shop manual i am developing troubleshooting plan. Next step is checking to see if starting relay is getting 12v. If not i will check controller output and safety switch input to controller. Raining today so maybe Monday

Since the starter turns the engine over, and it still doesn't start, you may have 2 problems. One electrical, and one fuel issue. Did you check your ignition switch for any loose wires? Is your PTO engaging switch on? I'd also take the batter cables off, clean them, clean the terminals on the battery and reinstall. I had that problem on my 2538. Dash lites came on, but no crank, or solenoid click. once I cleaned them, it worked fine.

When the engine turns over, if it was getting fuel, it should start, since there isn't any ignition req'd for diesel. Either your elec issue in not triggering your fuel pump, or you're not getting fuel into the engine from a supply issue. I'd pull the fuel line at the top fuel rail, crank the engine to see if it pumps fuel. Then work your way backward if it doesn't.

Just a couple of thoughts. There are a lot better mechanics on this board than me, but I happened to think of these 2 things off the top of my head. I'm sure others will give you more ideas.

Thanks and youre right about the fuel issue. I do hear humming noise with ignition switch on. Was told that probably means fuel pump is working but ill check further. I cleaned battery posts but am worried about battery. My charger displays battery capacity. From "full" to "low" after 20 seconds of cranking. Back to "full" after 60 minutes of charging.
I do need to figure out why it doent crank from ignition switch. Then theres my clutch problem. My new tractor is a 100hp john deere. Only self inflicted problems with it

Update based on troubleshooting today. Starter relay works. Put 12V across coil and got continuity between contacts. Reinstalled. Checked ignition switch. 14V on input voltage plug (single conductor). 14V on two other conductors (assume glow relay/timer and accessories) when switch is ON. When turned to START, the fourth and final conductor has 14V. I'm thinking ignition switch is good. That leaves wiring, controller, and safety switches. Still waiting on my shop manual to confirm how many safety switches there are. Shorted solenoid for 30 seconds or more and tractor didn't start with ignition in ON so I still have my fuel problem also. Verified connection between solenoid S+ term and starter relay contact also.

I do seem to have an earthing (ground) issue. I pulled controller connector and don't get the ground input I should be getting when the clutch switch is actuated. Also the PTO engaged icon on the panel does not come on when PTO dashboard pushbutton is pressed. Red backlight does come on but that only means that switch is functioning--not that controller sees PTO switch input properly. Also I connected 12V input pin on connector to starter relay output pin and didn't operate start relay. I've seen a thread on earthing problems on this forum but I mean to check the earthing points at the dash and the engine very closely.

Another note. I have Mahindra service manual that does not cover engine fuel system. By studying manual, it appears to be saying that engine issues are covered by a separate "engine manual". Hopefullly I can troubleshoot the fuel issue I have by following the fuel lines to the filters. Good grief!

I got it started today. Fuel issue was also an electrical issue. Red wire from battery + to starter and several wires from starter post to other places. Another red wire from battery + to connector and red wire #8 or #10 end was near that connector. It needed a male pin to match female connector on wire from battery. Wire end was clean cut but did have a gouge in insulation where male connector must have made connection to conductor. Anyway, i bought screw type splice connector, cut off connector, then stripped odd insulation on matching ends of red wire. Tightened screws with wire ends in place, applied electrical tape, reconnected + terminal to battery and tractor started right up with clutch engaged. Wire supplied current to contacts of start relay and pull coil relay

I used mahindra 5010 to put hay in chicken house [trusses limit overhead room to non cab tractor]. Had horned cow that can't nurse its calves and uses horns to back off other cows. Got her up in pen and tried to lift hay bale with mahindra. Tractor wouldn't start. No noise. Jd5100e could reach nearest bale so I got a bale to feed horned cow in pen.
After that I checked limit switch for clutch pedal. It appeared to be making up. Made sure I was in neutral and activated limit switch with finger. Tractor started. M8 1.25 thread bolt had worked itself to where it wasnt making up switch. Bought 2 nuts to use to lock bolt in place. Should work. I'll let you know.
