My Mahindra can turn a little to the right and a little to the left, I cannot make a sharp turns, when I do my steering wheel turn round and round and the front wheel are not turning much, all this is when the tractor is running and moving. To turn around I would need to male a large wide turn. I jacked the front two tires off the ground with no engine running, and I turn the steering wheel and the front tires do not turn at all. I checked rechecked there is no fluid link around the power steering fluid box nor is there any link around the steering cylinder under the tractor between the two front wheels. I just had my HSU steering box seal replaced by a shop, I reinstall the HSU (steering box below the steering wheel drive shaft) no fluid leaks around the HSU or the fluid line hoses it connected to. Can someone tell me why my steering is not turning correctly. I was not having this problem before I took the HSU to the shop to fix a leaking seal in the top of the HSU unit. Question 1. Could the shop incorrectly set something wrong inside the HSU as the replaced the fluid seal inside it. Question 2, Could I have not connected the steering wheel drive shaft no correctly to the HSU unit that is giving all this play when turning the front wheels. Question #. Could there be air in my steering fluid lined? Please can someone give me some advice????
