Several lubricant questions for my Mahindra 4110 newer model diesel 4wd tractor.

1. Is the fill plug for the rear hydraulic and transmission the same? - it appears to be a small 1" diameter flat plug just above the rear axle dipstick.

2. Can I use Tractor Supply Co (TSC) Universal transmission/hydraulic fluid?

3. Does the engine oil pan really have two drain plugs - one on each side of the center ridge?

4. Do I use the TSC transmission/hydraulic fluid in my front axle and if so - to what level do I fill?

I have a 35 series, so I don't know if your motor is laid out like mine... but mine has two drain plugs in the oil pan casting, one on each side of the front drive shaft tunnel. Both have to be removed and have each magnet cleaned. I went to Walmart and bought a trailer ball wrench for about $10 which fit the big plugs. Inch and a eighth or quarter, can't remember. My front axle had a short dipstick gauge for the front axle oil, don't know about yours. I used the TSC Premium trans/hyd fluid with no problem, but can't say for sure how yours is filled. That info is in my Operators Manual, and should be in yours, too. I don't see any problem using the TSC front axle fluid, but make sure it is compatible with brass. Seems to me that was something I had to look into when I filled mine a couple years ago... Good luck...
