It's about an 02-03. Had water in fuel in June. Got over that. In Sept started dying out again. Checked fuel filter, looked dirty. Pulled out and couldn't find new one. Soooo, I'm a pretty smart guy, I rinsed the old one out with diesel fuel, shook it real good and installed it. (There are not many smart guys like me) WHAT A FIX! Lasted 21 hrs. So I changed it for new and breaking loose the in and out hose coupler on filter head. It's been suggested the metal couplers can be cemented into head, but I had no cement. I used wire ties to hold them in. it lasted about 30 hrs. Now it's bogging down again when hot. The rubber line feeding filter, when squeezed fuel oozes from rubber line. I'm going to change all lines. What's the chances this is problem? All help appreciated. Would it possibly be injector pump? I'm thinking no, because the machine will operate for some time before bogging out. I have feeling if it was pump it would have completely gone out by now.
