Hello, new to the forum, I have a 09 Mahindra 4035 shuttle shift that is getting very difficult to shift into forward and reverse. The cable is a long purple one and looks to be impossible to get to the end that attaches to the transmission without taking the floor board off the tractor. Has anyone out there ever changed out this cable? If so please shed some light on how to get to it. I have considered cutting a square hole in my floor board to access the area where the shift cable connects to the transmission. Just hoping that its a faulty cable and not something dealing with the transmission. Tractor only has 700 hrs on it and I purchased this tractor new. Closest dealer is about 100 miles from me so of coarse I will try and fix this my self. If anyone has any info on this repair it would be greatly appreciated.
