Mahindra 4025 suddenly died, now only cranks

I have a very new (4hrs) Mahindra 4025. Bush hogged for 2 hrs and all of the seat nuts fell off. I fixxed the seat. Tractor started right up. Drove it about 100 ft and started to lower the bush hog. That's when it died. Now it only cranks but won't start. Need suggestions. The dealer gave the wrong manual so not sure how much this one applies. Got to be fuel problem right? Any help please!

Do you have fuel in the bowl? Does the engine attempt to start?
Sounds more like a safety switch issue - do you have the tractor in neutral? PTO off? Have you cycled the forward/reverse lever multiple times?
Checked the fuses?

It may not be convienent but I would call the dealer and have them fix it. 4 hours would be a warranty issue. Thats not even eneough time to burn the first tank of diesel out of it at PTO speed with a bush hog. If the dealer filled it when it was delivered and the fuel is contaminated that would be their problem.

Check the fuses, Sounds if the FIP fuse may have blown. That fuse turns the fuel on or the wire connection at the fuel solinoid could have disconnected.

If it's cranking it is not a saftey switch. Must be a fuel problem, start with OldGin Tractors suggestion first. After thinking about it the fuel might not be contaminated either, kind of sounds like it just ran out of fuel.

Only a few things it can be. First check the fuse for the FIP then make sure that the plug that goes onto the FIP has not popped off. Also there is a plug on the alternator that will do this. can look like its plugged in but will be just out. after that if the problem isn't fixed manually prime the tractor at the fuel filter until you have good pressure.. let it sit then try again to be sure your not loosing prime
