My 3510 HST has been a GREAT piece of equipment. Recently I have experienced an anomaly where the engine will immediately stop while running/operating. Almost every time it dies while running, I can immediately start it back up. Similarly, I have experienced a problem where the tractor won't start due to the entire ignition system being "dead". Usually when this happens I can get it start by stomping the emergency brake or bouncing on the seat, or simply by trying it a bunch of times in a row.
I suspect that during the "immediate engine kill situation" one of the safety interlocks is shorting/dropping out, either related to the seat, or the emergency brake pedal. I guess it is also possible that whatever kills the engine during an "operator off of the seat" situation might be failing. I'm also guessing that in certain situations when the tractor is turned off, the "engine kill" is getting stuck in "killed" mode until I "shake" it loose.
If anyone has ideas about where to start looking, I'd appreciate the advice. Thanks for any help!
