Mahindra 2810HST Battery Replacement

Can someone please tell me the correct battery replacement for a Mahindra 2810HST? The parts manual and owners manual are not very helpful. Thanks in advance!

You could measure the length and width of the battery box and the height of the existing battery. There are size charts that can convert these dimensions into a battery number. Check the placement of the existing terminals relative to the new battery - there are frequently two versions varying only by a suffix designation.

While physical size is a must consideration, it is only 1 aspect of battery replacement. Yes the replacement battery must fit into the space allowed for the battery by the mfg, you also need to have enough amperage for the battery to spin the starter and thus the engine fast enough to crank the engine. This is typically indicated on starting batteries with a XXX CCA or XXX CA rating. YOU SHOULD BUY A REPLACEMENT BATTERY WITH NUMBERS NO LESS THAN THOSE ON THE CURRENT BATTERY, while it also fits within the allowed space.

Any Group numbers on top of existing battery any CCA numbers.... Think the would be first clue as to what battery to get...

The simplest way might just be remove the battery from the tractor. Take it to a battery shop. They can match it exactly or possibly recommend a higher capacity battery of the same size. By battery shop I don't mean Walmart or similar, they have a very limited selection. There is generally a core credit for the old battery as the shop will handle disposal.
