Mahindra 2565 light panel/gauges

I have done some research but haven't found any answers, so I'll ask the owner/operators. Since I pick up the tractor from the dealer, some of the indicators on the panel didn't work, specifically the Neutral light. I asked the dealer and he said none of the Neutral lights work on the 2565. Natural I didn't believe him but he brought around one that was in for service and sure enough it didn't work either. The tractor works fine after 64 hours but it does seem that the A/C belt is too long and squeals every so often. It's no big deal to replace myself. Anyone else have this issue? First post, by the way.

You did not state what type of transmission you have... but here's my take. A lot of tractors have a semi-generic dash... what I mean is that it is used on tractors with possibly different motors and transmission/etc. thru that model series. Same as it used to be with cars and trucks in the past. The colored membrane that is lit up may be there, but there may be no light/led or circuit in that particular vehicle to light that indicator up. My 2555 HST, which is the same series, does not have a 'neutral' indicator. Nor does my 5035 which is a different series. My old JD tractors which are with me no more, did not have a neutral light, either. Sorry..... And welcome to the group. No question is a stupid question, bring it on.... [ but pictures of your tractor can be enjoyed by all ]

Nice tractor, I liked the 2565, but ended up with the lower hp [ and smaller tire'd ] 2555 so I could get a mid PTO. All you have to do is add useless info to a post once and awhile, ranting about stuff you hardly know anything about, and you will have soon have 100's of posts.. [ like I do ]
