Mahindra 2550 Engine Noise

Looking to upgrade to a cabbed tractor from my faithful NH TC40D. Tested a cabbed 2555 today. That tractor was LOUD even after it was fully warmed up compared to my NH. I'm looking for a cabbed tractor primarily to get out of the elements, but a bi-product of a cab has to be relative peace and quiet + comfort. Not there with this particular tractor. Is this typical of Mahindras? How much did you cabbed guys compare?

Edit: I tested a 2555 today - not a 2550 as noted in title of thread.

I have an open station 5035 that has a motor that really barks. The motor on the Tier4 2555, with the turbo and the extra chambers the exhaust runs thru, is a lot quieter...

i dont have any experience with the 2000 series mahindras but i can tell you my 6530 is LOUD. If i spend a few hours on it my ears are ringing by the time i get off.
