I've been reading about 3 point hydraulic top links. Some of them come with check valves to keep them from moving. I also read that some loaders if not all have check systems for safety. quote]

Would you be able to say which tractors have the check systems that you are talking about? (DPOCV I am assuming) I am fairly sure that none of the scut, cut or utility tractors that are talked about on this forum have any safety check valves on their FEL. I'm not sure if even the industrial TLB have them, I know that my Mahindras and our Case 580E doesn't.

...doing my 50 hour service so reading my manual again, more thoroughly this time, and see that it has a FEL Field Leak Down Inspection and Test, but the test is done with the engine running. Haven't read my BH manual yet.

With engine running, both my FEL and BH leak down. Sometimes that is how I position slung loads when by myself: off the tractor and holding the load in place until leak down lowers it down. Even my FEL bucket leaks down some.

I was concerned a little about this and getting ready to look into it when I read my manual for the 50 HR. Now I don't feel so concerned.

I have a 2615 w/ ML 106 FEL and 3710A BH. All are working fine and in great shape. Tractor and implements are turning out to be a good investment and paying their way nicely. What more could I ask for?
