Stopped by Tazewell on the way to Canada a couple of weeks ago.
Sales guy Chris was out, so Terry gave me the test rides on the machines.
Well made and very practical for what I need in hilly Tenn. What a machinery showroom. They build everything themselves from the hydraulic cylinders up to and including the building ! Definitely a workinman's candy store! holy smokes
Terry is a sharp guy, and a very nice human being. It would appear he is the indispensible link in the sales and service chain. Without Terry (or his presumed clone) they would have a tough time marketing these machines to an everyday guy, even a very handy guy. It takes a certain amount of "stepping out in faith" to purchase a machine with no dealer/distributor network. Terry has to be able to decipher the incoming tech questions, make the diagnosis, and then return an answer in a language that the average guy can understand, and not in some trade specific jargon known only to those who work in the hydraulics world. This is a gift Terry has and I guess what makes marketing these machines possible....the promise of Terry always at the other end of the phone!!
Impressive operation. Simple, solid stuff from what I could see. Not every attachment is a "10", but enough of a selection to do a lot of jobs and the rest you can buy somewhere else and adapt to the PT with a QA plate.
