Made my own Stabilizer Bar

For my PECS. Had the stuff in my shop - took 1 hour to make. Painted Kubota orange of course.

Oh - it's 1/2" steel rod inside 1/2" sch 80 pipe. Perfect fit

The Tee bolt/nut is 7/16".

So this is to replace the turnbuckles on your 3 point hitch? Pretty cool idea to just slide the bar in and out to adjst the spread of the lower arms. Nice. Wonder if the set screw will be enough to keep them tight. If not, you could drill a series of holes through both rods and use a pin to hold them at the set position.

No it's for Pat's Easy Hitch... the bar in the middle.

This bar spreads of the lift arms of the three point hitch to be aligned to specific implements - like a box grader.

I can see the need for the spreader bar with the turnbuckles on the inside of the lift arms, but with your stabilizers, do you really need the bar to hold the lift arms apart?

I wonder about that too... since I'm thinking of get a set of those...

I replaced my turnbuckles with the stabilizer links and have the PEC, I don't need the spreader bar, but wondered if the links in the picture was sloppy enough that they needed the spreader bar to hold them.
