I have been looking at a kubota M9540 cab the last couple of weeks and comparing it to the deere 5093e. I went and test drove both of them saturday within 45 min of each other so that I could get a good comparison.
I am a current kubota 4330 owner but I must say that I had my mind set on the deere because most bigger operations around me run a deere. I don't care to be different but I thought that they knew something that I didn't know.
Let me say that I am trying not to be orange biased but the deere is no where near the kubota on features, fit&finish, options etc. Here is what I found.
Deere 5093e 4x4, 12x12 transmission, wet hyd clutch, 553 loader, bias ply tires, q/a bucket. $45,000 with 1.9% on 60 mo.
Kubota m9540 cab 4x4, 1353 loader, 24x24 transmission, wet hyd clutch, radial tires. q/a bucket, telescopic 3pt arms. $48,000 0% 60 mo
The features that the deere lacked was no radial tire option on the E/limited series, 2917 lift capacity on the deere, 7275 on the kubota. The deere did weight about 750# more than the kubota with the cast wheels so that is a plus for the deere but all others seemed to go the way of the kubota. Kubota also comes standard with two cab doors whereas the deere only had one unless you add it as an option.
These are just my observations but I have studied up on my purchase for the last couple of months.
