anyone do the "recommended" service for hyd. brakes on these models yet? (ie purge lines, equalizer valve, m cyl kit, etc) guess it's shop manual info, but is recommended in owners manual....service is probably overkill (more than likely liability issues for them) but at some point worth looking into.
i've adj. slack in the br. pedals once i figured how to get behind them. trans lock cable will also need tension adj every so often.....tr. lock is one of the main reasons i went from 70 to 8540. thx in advance

All we have done so far is adjust the brake pedals, but will be watching this thread as we keep our tractors a LONG time.

If its brake fluid...
You should flush that every second year. It takes on moisture and will rust the bottom, inside of the lines, cylinder bores... KennyV

fortunately everything feeds off UDT....even my large dealership has yet to service any brake related items, so guess it will be down the road for me @ 300hrs....but it is an item i'd rather be preventative than a repair after something's gone south... thx bb
