So trying to blow snow, turning around in the seat to watch the 3pt hitch blower, the alarm goes off. Guess I値l have a few extra Xmas treats this year!!
I have an air ride seat. Now to find the sensor and tape it down I suppose. Or add a 壮witch to disable it for select operations. It does go away after a period of time, not sure if I知 triggering it occasionally or that痴 the way it works. Either way it gets in the way of hearing the radio!!!!
Any easy fixes for this seemly annoying but likely justified warning?

I had switch issues with the seat on my L series Kubota. It wasn't a switch or adjustment issue. The seat pivots on a rod and one end had come loose due to a missing cotter pin. I suggest raising your seat and inspecting how its attached or whether something is loose or missing.

I couldn't stand just what you are talking about - turning around or even just shifting my weight around on the seat and that darn alarm would go off and I'd nearly hit the roof of the cab when I jumped. If it weren't so loud it wouldn't be so bad but that thing will blast my ears out in that tiny cab. So one fine day this past summer I'd had enough and decided to fix the problem.

My tractor does not have the air ride seat so yours may be different but I'm willing to bet the concept is pretty much the same. I figured out how to remove the bottom seat cushion from the pan and that exposed the switch assembly. On my tractor there was about a 6" square piece of foam about a quarter of an inch thick glued to the pan with two wires running to it. I found that if I bridged those two wires the alarm was silenced so I soldered a short piece of wire between the contacts and the problem was fixed.

I don't consider this seat switch justified in any way. If a person doesn't have enough on the ball to know not to stick body parts into running machinery then natural selection should apply. I've been using a tractor since I was 8 years old and I'm in my 70s now and managed to survive without one of those annoyances.

Hmmm - I have a 2009 Kubota M6040. Engage the PTO - stand up and exit the tractor - alarm will sound for ~ ten seconds and shut itself off. As long as the tractor is running and PTO engaged the alarm will not sound again. By the time I'm out back and ready to chuck trees into the chipper the alarm has shut itself down.

Exact same prob. I had a few months back. Found the cotter pin and just had to slip it back in. Would have like to see under seat tube full length vs. the tabs.

So I found the connector for the switch behind the seat. Unplugged it, jumpered the wires together and voila! No more alarm.
