M6800 KUBOTA HYDRAULIC FLUID FILL

I just blew a hydraulic line on my Kubota M 6800, I fixed the line and am ready to refill fluid. I have 2 questions, what is the capacity and where does it go in? I can't find a filler cap, I found the tank on the right side, but can't find the fill tube or cap.

FWIW, my filler is on the rear, under & to the side of the PTO shaft. There is a dipstick there also.

Thanks Rusty, I found a small dipstick in the area you mentioned, it's only about 2" long. However There is no filler there. On the top of the rear housing, I found a red plastic cap with a vent tube coming out of it, it says oil on it. it is under the housing where the hydraulic assessory lines plug in to the quick connects. Is that the fill? They could of made it a little easier to pour fluid into, lol

I can't quite picture what you have there, but if that red cap is any higher than the dipstick, it's not the filler. Look around the trans. at the level of the dip stick. :thumbsup:

Pretty sure the fill is through the dipstick hole is the rear. If I recall, it's a small cap, about 1.5 inches. Seems like it's grey. I can look it up tomorrow in my manual. Capacity is lots. Maybe two gallons if you dumped it all, which is unlikely. Again, tomorrow, if you still need this into, I can check my repair manual

I found the fill cap, it is red and on the other side from the dip stick, I found out it holds 17.1 gallons, I put in 10 gallons and everything is working, I am going back to get another 5 gallons, and go from there by checking the dip stick. My dip stick does not have a 1 1/2" hole near it, but check your manual to see what I am talking about, I would like to know if it says something different than what I found, Thanks
