After many months of searching for the "RIGHT" tractor I have decided to go with the M6800 4WD. I am getting an ALO 720 loader which seems like The Cadillac of loaders. I am also getting the cast inserts in the rear rims with a heavy duty smooth bucket with a H.D. removable toothbar. I already have 5 implements but I am going to break down and but a Woods MD184 7' bushhog. The question I have is that I will be cleaning up leaves around my parents farm and they have about 35 mature (65 yrs. or >) oak trees and that is more than they can take care of. I have looked at a coule of PTO blowers 30". I know they are pricey but they insist that they want one. A dealer demonstrated one to me and I was amazed at the power it showed. It practically jerks the grass out of the ground. I would really appreciate it if anyone has seen or used one brand or another that they would recommend. The unit is about $2,500. I would also like to thank all of the useful comments i have received on this site. I was undecisive about what unit to purchase for a tractor until speaking with WEN and others because it was between the M5700 and the M6800 and with the minimum amount of difference why not go with the bigger unit. Thanks for all the help guys and girls.

Congratulations,

You will love the M6800 and if the Alo loader is any better than the Kubota LA1002, you will love it too.

I did not get teeth on the bucket, but they are handy for some purposes, but are not intended for digging with them. The scarfiers on a box blade are actually better for loosening the ground before you scrape it up or scoop it up. It is possible to put too much load on the bucket and loader with them if you are not careful. The cast rear wheel inserts are really nice.

I would love the 7 ft bushog, but it won't fit on my trailer (except set on the siderails) so had to settle for the 6 ft Bush Hog 260.

You will find very few things that 100 HP tractors can do that you can't do with the 4WD, yet the tractor is considerably smaller in size.

Don't know much about blowers. I live on a windy hilltop and leaves don't stay under trees.
