For anyone nearing an M59 oil change but hasn't done it, I lubed and gave mine its first oil change.
The 59s' zerks are better positioned for an easy grease job. For example, they relocated the under loader arm zerk on the 39 to an outside location for the 59.
The oil filter, oil filler cap and dipstick are together and accessible without removing the engine side cover making the oil change very easy. If you do it, make sure you get the copper oil seal rings which seat the two oil drain plugs.
