Looking at a used 2005 M5700 for sale locally. Only 13 hours and it is equipped with a la1002 loader and M4711 backhoe. It has the shuttle or reverser on the steering column. What is a ballpark value on this 10 year old tractor?:confused3:
Wow - with only 13 hours this is a great find for someone looking for a new 60 hp M type tractor.
Normal homeowner hours in ten years might be 1000 +/- so the average 4wd tractor with FEL & backhoe might have a value in the mid twenties. But with NO hours and stored inside I'd guess the value jumps into the thirties. Even in the mid 30's it would still be way under the $50k + present price for similar capability.
The backhoe has maybe depreciated the most - only because the market for a new one with it's unique subframe is getting pretty small. If the whole package sold over $40k ten years ago, maybe an offer of $30k would be a starting point?
