M115776 deck belt / Kevlar

I was looking online for a replacement M115776 belt for my 44" mulching deck for my LX178. It's the long belt that drives the three spindles. I see a lot of aftermarket "Kevlar" belts like PIX brand or D&D: Amazon.com : Replacement For John Deere Belt M115776, Made with Kevlar to FSP Specifications. : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Anyone try one of these belts? I have no complaints about the original Deere belts other than my dealer is 40 minutes away. The Deere belts are made in USA. Not sure about the Kevlar belts although I suspect they are from China. It's not about the money...it's more about convenience and wondering if these "Kevlar" belts are better.

I would just go with a brand name supplier like Gates.

For some reason my power transmission (name of the place that sells belts) dealer says that the John Deere belts are hard to match up. This is after I bought one from my JD dealer and wanted him to match it. Went to TSC and matched it on my own.

two things JD belts tend to have a special cut angle. all lawnmower belts are kevlar, and as long as you use a aftermarket oem style replacement you will be fine some people have good luck with pix some don't
