I sold my LX178 about two months ago. I gave the user manual from John Deere with the tractor.

Keep looking and eBay may be an option.

Can you give us some additional info about needing the manual? Helpful to others to have more info and experiences about the different models. What makes TBN the special place that it is for others.
The operator manuals should go with the tractor when sold, as a courtesy. The service tech manuals are more detailed and coveted because Deere doesn't just give them away.
