Just wanted to post about the LS front mount snow blower option. I hadn't been able to find threads about these front mount snow blowers....so, I thought I'd post about my experience. I just assembled and installed mine last weekend. My tractor came with a FEL from the factory. Unfortunately, the assembly instructions are written for tractors that do not have FEL's. Also, there are three plates, that are designed to be reinforced attachment for the rear of the blower frame, that do not get used with tractors that have a FEL. We took our time with installation......which consumed about four hours start to finish.

The blower says it's made in Canada. It seems very robust and has a quick detach feature. The unit I have has a hydraulic rotation of the chute but manual deflector adjustment. Hopefully I won't regret not having a bucket on for winter. I went with a front mount because the arthritis in my back and neck make it very uncomfortable to twist around to watch a rear mount blower.

All in all......a great offering from LS, IMHO.

After visiting my cabin, where my tractor will live when I am able to get it there in the summer, I thoughtabout that snow blower after digging out the outhouse and root cellar. I was told that it is about 8,000 though. Is that about right? Sure don’t want to drive backwards though, neck issues as well. How do you like it?

Perhaps I missed it in the pictures, but how to do raise it up? Is there a hydro piston somewhere?

Looks like a Beast. Can the backhoe be left on for ballast? Thanks for the info and photos, been considering one myself.

Buy one Doofy and bring it to whisky Lake for a trial run!

Hahahaha. You first! If $$ was not a problem...I would probably go with a hydraulic motor snow blower. Less farting around with mechanical parts that always need fixing (as in: shear pins and drive chain).
