My mon was mowing the yard and all at once no for. or rev. and the drive belt is not broke and is still tight? tranie gone bad? how hard to fix and $$ to fix.Thanks

You might get a better response in the Lawn and Garden forum.

Check to make sure the blet is still properly routed on all the pulleys and that it's not slipping when engaged - good place to start anyway.

Don’t know if it has one of those little doohickeys that you push in (or pull out) to manually push the beast, but on my lt180 I had a similar problem because of that mysteriously having been pushed in, thus disengaging the transmission.

Look for the pulley on top of the transaxle to be slipping,they have a spline that can wear out over time. The pulley is designed to be "sacrificial" so the transaxle splines are not damaged
