It could just be cold. Try running your glow plugs for a few seconds (if it has them) then try the starter. It could also be a heater relay of you have an intake heater instead.
That sounds like a bad key switch to me, after it shuts off, is there a quiet humming or buzzing sound for 5 to 10 seconds after the tractor shuts off?Thats right. As soon as you let off the starter it dies instantly
I found a toggle relay that had broke on the hydrostatic arm that wasnt engaging and keeping it from turning over. Without the relay depressed it was sensing that the tractor was in gear and preventing it from turning over. Now it will attempt to turn over but wont continue to run, seems there is some issue with the fuel pump or a relay to the pump. Since it cranks now but wont stay running. II have checked the fuel filter, purge the fuel supply lines and I am getting fuel both on the supply and return side..........Fixed one issue to find another
Thats right. As soon as you let off the starter it dies instantly
