Tractor
Working on it
As I stated when I bought this tractor I am posting follow up after a short period of ownership. I have about 12 hours on my new Boomer 35 New Holland.

So far I have enjoyed it very much. We just had Hurricane Irene pass by and so I used the FEL a bunch in moving fallen trees around but mostly I have been bushogging fields with it.

At 11 hours the Turtle valve (valve controlling the rate of ascent/descent of the rear hithch arms) decided to break. Raised the bushhog to back out of the shed and it wouldn't come back down.

My dealer and the regional New Holland rep came out and fixed it that afternoon with no hassle.

Other than that, no issues.

Here she is enjoying a beautiful summer day.....

Is yours a 12x12 or HST? Do you have any issues with the hood moving around and rattling/rubbing on your loader mounts? Any issue with your loader quick couplers not letting fluid through?

I've had two go bad on my Boomer 35. They won't let the bucket drop or dump. Something in the tip is restricting flow under full flow condition. If you milk the joystick the function works but not under full flow. I've got about 40 hours on mine and am amazed at how much work a guy can get done with that machine.

Ok. Had the Boomer 35 for one year. Only put 20 hrs on her and no other problems than the turtle valve failure. No issues with front end loader or hydraulics.

Changed the oil and oil filter and went back to bushhogging. Used the FEL to dig out some very small stumps and push downed trees out of the way what a back saver that is.

Broken 2 shear bolts in the bushhog thus far when I misjudge the ground height or hit a lump of dirt.

Enjoying my tractor a ton...what a great piece of equipment!!! Going to build her an aluminum building to stay in vs the building I have now.

Been a while since I updated this thread. My Boomer 35 has about 55 hrs now. I use it mostly to bushhog 7 acres of fields and occasionally move dirt and dig up small trees with the front end loader or box blade.

Aside from usual maintenance I have had no issues with the tractor. Easy to service except for draining coolant out of the block. Need to take off the fuel filter to get to the block drain plug/screw.

Tractor is very enjoyable to use and own thus far. It lives under an aluminum shelter. So far very pleased with the tractor.

Lesson learned...get the biggest bushhog you can run. I got the 5' and should have got the 6'.
