LS R3039 seat question?

Does anyone know what function that the little black knob at the bottom of the seat is for? I turn it to the left and the seat wobbles a bit I turn it back to the right and it quits wobbling . I know about the big knob to adjust the weight that the seat can float...

Other than the three point down valve, I’m not sure what it could be.

Well, there are only two knobs. The larger one at the base of the seat adjusts how the seat carries the weight of the operator. The smaller one is down lower and it regulates the rate at which the 3 point hitch drops ----- adjust it to your liking depending upon what implement is on the back.

Look at the picture blown up you will see the little knob at the bottom of seat

According to my owners manual, the large knob is the weight adjustment (makes the damper more or less firm). The small knob is the seat height adjustment.

My manual for my XR3135HC says the same thing. The small knob is for the height adjustment. But it doesn't tell you how to adjust it. And the seat in my tractor does not have that small triangular knob. Strange.
