I found a new XR4046 I haven't went to look at it yet for a price of 23700 out the door. I have a LS dealer 45 minutes away. Any known issues with this model? I test drove the DK50 and got a price of 22500 plus tax. The DK feels more comfortable to me but the LS isn't bad. Ls has more standard equipment. The Kioti dealer is 1.5 hours away which is a concern if I have issues. I have ruled out Kubota and JD and yamar. Mahindra is number three on my list. Any known issues with either. Both tractors are 4x4 with loaders

Kioti and LS are both good tractors. The XR4046 and the DK50se are very close to each other in specs. Between the two, you can flip a coin and be happy whether it comes up heads or tails.

I assume these are used tractors. If so, then hours and condition will be the deciding factors.

It just occurred to me that you might be referring to the Kioti DK5010 model, not the prior DK50SE (which was a more deluxe tractor with more standard features).

Both tractors are new and yes it's the DK5010. I'm going tomorrow to look at the LS.

Kioti took a few of the standard "frills" from the CK & DK series and made them options on the CKxx10 & DKxx10 series so it would depend on exactly how that one is trimmed out, but like Pappy said they are so close you'd be happy with either.

Given the closeness in price I would start to look at the "little things"
- Which feels more comfortable to you? Sit & operate all the controls. Test drive them if you can. Something seemingly minor now can end up being a big PITA over the life of owning a tractor.
- Options the dealers may have added on like Rear Remotes, extendable lower links, floor mats, etc.
- How the lifts links and sway controls adjust.

Ask about other add-on's you may want now (like 3rd function control for a grapple). Usually the dealer will put them on at the time of sale cheaper than you can add them later.

When we were shopping I liked the looks and what I read about LS it was just 2-3 hours away for the closest dealer so we never went to look at them in person. Meanwhile Kioti made us an offer we couldn't pass up.

Talk to the kioti dealer about service & warranty issues. That 1.5 hours away might not be as big a deal. I know we didn't let that bother us. Our "closest" dealer is easily over an hour drive away and our purchasing dealer is probably closer to 2 hours away. And we have to pass Deer, MF, New Holland, Kubota, Branson, and Mahindra to get to either of them.

Best of luck with which ever you pick.
