I'm looking at new tractors and these are the two that the list has been whittled down to. I'm looking at something with a cab and power shuttle (reverser), and both of these fit that bill. From what i can tell, these tractors are very close in terms of capabilities, weight (the LS is about 500 lbs heavier), dimensions, very similarly equipped (although I believe the LS does have a 3rd function on the FEL). They are pretty close in terms of cost, although it appears that the Kioti is cheaper by a few K. Kioti also has much better flow through its hydraulic pump...19.23 gpm vs 13.2. Nearly 50% better flow. The LS comes in quite a bit higher in price @ $47k than what the Kioti is quoted at...$43k. Anybody out there have any real world experience with these two tractors? Do you have any reason to choose one tractor over the other with all other factors being equal?

Stick with the Kioti. Resale will be much better and they have some great features and capabilities. I test drove the kioti and liked it alot. Very agile. However, I ended up with a Massey Ferguson 4707. Good luck

I thought that I was going to get a deal worked out on a 7320 with with a dealer, but it doesn't look likely. Was trying to work in a trade, but it looks like it might work out better to sell the tractor myself. Still want to talk to a dealer about a comparable TYM.

I bought a 7320 with the cab and power shuttle last year and have almost 150 hours on it. I use it as a forklift, pull a 16 foot disc with it, pull a 10 foot heavy duty shredder and a 15 foot batwing with it, a 2500 pound 3 point seeder, cleaned up several concrete debris piles and old building foundations with a 6 foot root grapple on the loader, and are going to use it next weekend to auger out 80 16" round holes for planting trees. My neighbor says it pulls harder than his 100hp Ford. AC and heat work great and the AC gets a real workout here in central Texas. Only problem I have had was an early failure of a pinched O ring in the hydraulic remote stack that was a very quick and cheap fix. Overall I am very happy with the tractor, only thing I wish it had was a buddy seat like some of the domestic brands have. Our local Kioti dealer, Paige Tractors, has been great, only downside with them is they always have something new that I need to spend money on like a UTV, sprayers, etc...

Before I bought my 7320 I looked at a lot of tractors. The close LS dealer was switching to TYM because he claimed that he was having trouble getting paid for warrantee work, the farther LS dealer only stocked small tractors. The Massey dealer was pretty new (Bryan) but Massey/Agco did not have the best online reputation and was about 8K higher than the Kioti. The E series Deere felt like a step down from the Kioti and still cost quite a bit more, the M series was really nice (my dream tractor) but I could have bought two Kiotis and a really, really nice lunch (like flying to Paris for it) for the cost of the M series. The Kubota was very comparable to the Kioti (ergonomics seemed a little better thought out) but was not worth anywhere near the 10K price premium and watching ChuckE2009 on youtube and all of the problems he had with his it makes my choice feel even better. Stopped by the Case/IH dealer but they seemed to be focused on big machines which are their bread and butter. Mahindra is not strong in my area.

Im glad to hear that the 7320 is working out for ya. I drove one yesterday and I did like it...for the most part. The transmission didn't want to shift into any gear other than first. I didnt want to force it, although I was being pretty persuasive. I asked the salesman if I was doing anything wrong and he climbed in, crammed it right into gear, and off he went. It then also worked for me after that, but it still didn't seem to lock into a gear position, but rather kind of a mushy general location where the gear should be. I guess it's probably fine, but it sure didn't feel like any other manual tranny I've ever driven , and that is all I ever drive.
I've checked into a loan and If I can sell my tractor for what it's worth, I should be able to get a loan for the rest.
I do still have a lead on a used 2007-08 75 hp MFWD Case tractor with a front end loader and cab. I will see what comes of that. Don't know a thing about Case...

Sounds to me like something is up with that unit/transmission. Mine does and always has gone into gear easily and firmly. I use mine around our 100ac (hobby) beef farm. I've got a 10' 3pt disc mower which it pulls as if it's not back there. It's not that heavy or big so it doesn't really test the machine. We have a 4x4 Krone net-wrap bailer we use for making wet bales. I don't think they every get over 1500lbs so it deals with those really easily as well. Our hay field is sloped in areas so it's nice to have this machine to load bales onto wagons for hauling back to the barn where we wrap them. There are several options for wheel spacing. I've got loaded rear tires set at the widest possible setting. Machine is 8' wide.

The biggest job we've used it for was rejuvenating about 10 acres of hay field after having it tiled. We don't spray so we just ran a heavy set of MF transport discs over, and over, and over it. I think they are 20' wide but I don't/haven't used them with the wings down. It increases the weight/disc without becoming too large to pull. For final grooming of a field I suspect it would pull all 20' but I was using them as aggressively as I could to cut and kill this sod. They are 22" serrated in the front, 22" smooth discs in the back. In really soft stuff, the tractor could run out of traction but as things dried out it worked better and better. Here's a photo of the setup.

As mentioned in your other thread, it's louder than I'd like and it can't/doesn't have a buddy seat.

If I'd known as much about the MF4707 then as I do now, and I could get pricing anywhere close to what Bigpuddie got, I'd seriously consider that machine. That 4707 seems like a really nice machine but it's lower HP and more expensive so even with that knowledge it'd be a hard choice.

They list two different transmissions for the 7320, one a syncro shuttle and a power shuttle. I think the syncro shuttle is the lower end 4 speed manual transmission and the power shuttle has an electric clutch control on the shifter grip. I have the power shuttle on mine and really like it. Very smooth fwd/reverse shifting - just flick the lever, smooth shifting on the road (when running down the front of our place on the blacktop I start out in 1st gear H range and then just shift to 4th once moving good).

I also looked at a used Case JX80 at a used tractor dealer (the kind where you want to count your fingers after you shake hands). I liked the layout, it was 10K less than the new Kioti, but the story did not add up on it about where it came from (there were a lot of hurricane flood tractors on the market then being passed off as only babied and driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady), so I passed and found a real dealer that I liked with a good reputation.

My day job that pays the farm bills is I have a CNC machine shop and we do contract manufacturing. Equipment is very complicated and expensive. I have learned over the years to only buy good stuff and the vendor relationship is at least as important as the machine you buy. Having spares on hand, good service guys, and not arguing with you when you report a problem makes all the difference in the world during a stressful situation. Any good quality tractor with good support will work for you, but a good quality tractor with a crappy dealer is not worth buying.

The one I test drove was also a power shuttle. I agree, the forward to reverse shifting was very smooth and worked surprisingly well. It was only the 4 speed gearbox that gave me pause.

Have had a 7320 open station power shuttle for a year and 150 hours. I love the tractor, no problems to date. Use it for mowing, hauling rock and pulling trees with a Danuser tree puller. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the whole DPF deal but I knew that going in and it is not singular to the brand. The power shuttle is a thing of beauty and 4 speeds by 3 ranges is adequate for me. Coming from a DK50SE it seems like twice the machine. I think you are correct with respect to selling the old one yourself. Sent the DK50 down the street on Craigslist for 5k more than the dealer was willing to offer on trade.
