Just another thought grenade for the forum, who owns a LS M125? Are you happy with it? If so why? if not why not? For the non-owners, what do you know about the MT1 series? I hadnt heard of them until the day before yesterday, I drove over and looked at one, sat on it, cranked it. But I didnt drive it nor have I seen anyone else in the area with one. Any and all thoughts on this tractor platform welcomed for educational purposes if nothing else.

Cheers,

There are quite a few of us on here. LS is one of the least known even among those that already have them under different labels. They make at least some models for New Holland and others. I've only had mine about six months, but it's taken everything I've thrown at it. I don't use it for snow duty since I don't get much snow, so it sat for quite a while.

As they are a South Korean manufactured tractor, what is the parts supply like? I know that the local place here is offering a 6 year warranty and service plan. If you have problems with it, do you have to dial 800-korea or is there someone with in the states?

I had it narrowed down the 1025R and the MF 1715, until someone on here mentioned them. Ive been researching them for two days, but dont want to over analyze this too much.

I absolutely love my MT125. Like Diggin It said, it has done everything that I tried to do with it. The biggest project was putting in a complete septic system. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. As far as parts availability, I have not had any problems with the dealer getting parts from the main parts warehouse in North Carolina. They have drop-shipped direct to me. I have not heard of anyone having parts availability problems. The 6 year warranty is by LS on the powertrain, 2year bumper to bumper, 1 year on the loader and LS attachments. I have mine for 2 years now, and have not had a warranty claim or issue.

I looked at one last week, finally. I drove it around the parking lot, played with the controls. I thought it was kinda a hybrid of the deere and kubota.
I would have considered them further, but the dealer basically said he would not sell a mmm for it. He could get it, but knew I would have issues and not be happy with it. I am looking at the tractor for primarily mowing, so kind of a deal breaker.
When I pressed for a price with the mmm, it was $15,200 with loader. No additional attachments. That is only $100 cheaper than the Kubota BX2380 I was quoted. I thought they were going to be quite a bit cheaper than green or orange.

I just ordered a MT125. I did a lot of research and was also looking at used tractors. There is a 1500.00 rebate on the backhoe so I was able to get an unbelievable price. I also have several dealers in my area. The A similar Kubota would have cost me thousands of dollars more. The Kubota has a huge market share in this market and is well respected so their machines will hold a premium on the used market if you decide to sell. I plan on tackling a lot of jobs with the tractor but I also am not using it everyday. For me it was a used Kabota or new LS for the dollars I had to spend. I chose to go new and to get a full warranty in the process.

That makes no sense. Mine came with an MMM. Since I got it late last year, I've only used it a few times, but it has worked fine so far. That dealer may be a bit high too (price wise :) ). Mine came in at a little over $18K with a BH, 48" tiller and Subsoiler/Middle Buster.

We've seen a few examples of pricing on the far west coast being higher than the east though.

Don't know if your too far NW, but call Bruno's Powersports, check them on the Internet. They say they will deliver anywhere, and have MT125's with loader, backhoe, and MMM fo $17,195, and loader / mower for $14,306. Worth looking into.

I bought from Haney Equipment Sales in Athens Alabama. I called Bruno's too but I liked my salesperson better and their price was lower. His name is Adam Haney. I guess he is the owner. Adam is easy to deal with and easy to contact for followup questions after the sale. . They have a large dealership. 265-232-5850
