LS MT125 Rear Shaft not Hooked up? Help

Hi,

I was looking under my tractor yesterday and noticed that there is a shaft with spines that isn't hooked up to anything. It's on the rear of the tractor. See pic. Is this normal? Thanks in advance

its a mid mount pto for a mower deck or a shaft going to a front snow blower, or similar.

Yup, mine is in use with the MMM.

I'd get some oil or other rust inhibitor coating on it though.

It runs the mid mount mower and snowblower. I would love to see the MT125 blow snow in person. That just seems neat. Have a great weekend. Tony's Tractor Adventure
